    We charge: $55 each for a solar screen Any size, Any grade, Any shape. $130 each for Colonials $120 each for Seabreeze. The average solar screen costs $300 per window, including labor. Most homeowners pay between $115 and $480 per window. Expect to pay more for larger windows (such as floor-to-ceiling), custom screens or certain openness/density levels.
  • How long do my solar screens and the warranty last?
    20-30 years How long will my solar screens last? Our Kingscreen™ are warranted for as long as you live in your home. However, 20-30 years is a realistic life expectancy.
  • Do solar screens make your house dark?
    The 90 grade screens will prevent 40% of the suns natural light from entering your home.
  • Which is better solar screens or window tinting?
    When strictly comparing which is better for heat reduction in the home, solar screens are, hands down, the far superior choice. Window tint or film can be completely invisible while providing some slight energy efficiency improvements but it can also be easily damaged.
  • What is solar screen fabric?
    What is Solar Screen Fabric? ... This sunshade fabric is made of PVC-coated polyester and specifically engineered to reduce the heat transfer that happens through windows. A form of sun control, compared to window tinting, solar screens are far more efficient as well as effective in both shading and protection.
  • Our the screens made with cheaper materials to lower the price?
    No. We sell our screens at $55 each as we are a direct wholesale distributor, manufacturer and install service. Not retail. Our quality is 100% American made materials.
  • How long from measure to install?
    Measure and install should take 1 hour or less with a 7 working day turnaround for contract completion.
  • How do I service my solar screens?
    We will come a service your screens for $15 per screen. *please note we are not a window cleaning service. With a light flow use water hose (not a pressure washer) with the screen in place.Then apply dish soap or mild detergent. then rince 1 to 2 times per year.
  • Do you clean my windows on install?
    No. You must have your windows clean and areas surrounding the windows decluttered at least 24 hours prior to install.
  • Are there any extra fees?
    None. Just the cost of the solar screens. One price guranteed.
  • Do solar screens block airflow?
    Window screens can block airflow by somewhere between 50% and 80%.
